There is no better feeling than being in nature, relaxing and getting away from day-to-day life, stresses, now more than ever. So after many long chats with ‘the wife ‘idea of Harper Stalton Camper conversions started. We wanted the average family to be able to have their own camper but without the huge price tag.
A basic but comfy piece to spend time and make memories. My love of carpentry also plays a big part as I find designing and working with wood a great way to channel my energy and giving me a focus. As my time in the military has left its mark mentally so this is my release. on the back of van interiors we also have our sister site Harper Stalton Designs which is bespoke wooden items for your home and garden, if you see it, I can make it.

Welcome to our site. We are Paul & Paula, husband & wife, who during lockdown decided to take the plunge at being business owners and so far, so good!
Paul: As a military soldier of 26 years, this meant long periods away from home and family. Sometimes months at a time. So, family time has always been close to my heart, so when I finally left the forces I took on a job as HGV driver but again this took me away from home 5 days a week, so I started to think about a new path for me to follow.
Being a soldier meant I have come to love being outdoors and sleeping ‘under the stars’ so camping has always been a huge passion of mine, but I admit my idea of camping is out on the wild moors with no hidden luxuries!
I have been lucky to not only have sold my campers, but also have completed trade van interiors and general interior of items, power inverters leisure batteries and night heaters to name a few. I am so passionate about my work and how successful this little company has become in only a few months. I am excited to see it grow, so thank you for looking at our website. Paula: Hi, what a crazy year it has been for us all, working for NHS has been a real eye opener for me, and having Paul work away from home has been very difficult. So it was time for a change, now working alongside my husband ‘behind the scenes’ is hard but very rewarding and seeing his passion is amazing. We share a love of being outdoors, walking our dog and just spending time together.
So how better than to try and create a way for other couples, friends or family to do the same without the financial worries of a hefty price tag and the best part is you can help design and have as much input to your ‘Home on Wheels’ so the van is before to you.
